Bear Cubs
The bear cubs were started in 2019 for the younger members of the club, children from the ages of 3 to 6 years come along and learn the basic skills of gaelic games giving them the foundation for more advanced skills in years to come.
It was the idea of Paul O'Brien to transform the Nursery into what we now call the Bear Cubs. Paul being the GPO for the Club goes around to all the local schools in the Ballyfermot area with the Bear Cub mascot promoting the Club. This has helped to increse the number of members in the juvenile section of the club in the last year by well over 60-70 children.
